Director's Welcome

Director's Welcome

This photo is a professional portrait of a woman against a neutral gray studio background. She has shoulder-length blonde hair styled with volume and soft waves. She is smiling and wearing a light blue blazer over a dark floral-patterned top. She also has a delicate gold necklace with a small square pendant. The overall tone and style of the photo suggest it could be used for business, educational, or official purposes such as a staff directory or professional profile.

Hello! My name is Suzanne Evans and I am the Director of Exceptional Needs for the new Clinton County Joint Services Cooperative. This school year will be my 17th year serving students with exceptional needs. The Clinton County Joint Service offices will be housed at Rossville Schools. We will be providing our services to Rossville Schools, Clinton Central Schools, and Clinton Prairie Schools within each corporation’s individual school building.

The Clinton County Joint Services is a full service Cooperative serving children from ages 3 through 21. We employ school psychologists, educational consultants, physical therapists, Blind/Low Vision and Deaf/Hard of Hearing personnel which serve the rural Clinton County schools. We provide special education evaluations, related services, professional development, and technical assistance to the schools we serve. In addition to conducting assessments and evaluations, team members are also active in developing Individualized Education Plans, implementing therapy, providing intervention strategies, supporting parents, and teaming with school professionals to create positive learning environments that lead to student success.

Our staff is excited to serve the rural Clinton County schools, staff, parents, and students to continue a collaborative partnership in providing students and families with educational and transitional support. Through this collaborative relationship with Rossville, Clinton Central, and Clinton Prairie schools, we will
promote positive outcomes according to each student’s unique needs within each school we serve.
